Completed
November 2025
A dark galley kitchen closed off from the living room by a load-bearing wall, with three different flooring materials meeting at the doorways.
We had the beam sized by an engineer, pulled the wall, and carried a flush LVL so there is no bulkhead across the ceiling. The kitchen was rebuilt on the same footprint plus the six feet the wall gave back, and one flooring material now runs unbroken from the front door through to the back.
Nine weeks, with a written schedule updated every Monday. Drag the slider on the first image to see the kitchen that was there before.
Scope of work
Nine weeks, and every Monday we knew exactly what was happening that week. The one delay we hit, they called us about it before we noticed.
