Scope

6 days, including cure

Completed

March 2026

The asphalt had gone past patching — alligator cracking across the whole surface and two low spots that held water against the garage slab every thaw.

We took it out to subgrade, added and compacted six inches of granular base, then poured a reinforced concrete drive with a broom finish and a proper apron transition at the street. The slope now runs to the street on both sides of the crown.

Scope of work

  • Full removal to subgrade, 6in compacted granular base
  • Reinforced 5in slab, broom finish
  • Re-graded crown, water sheds to the street
  • New apron transition at the municipal edge
The crew arrived the day they said they would, poured on the second morning, and swept the street both evenings. I have had contractors leave more mess replacing a doorknob.
